About
The University was established by the State Govt. of Rajasthan as State Funded University by an Act No. 6 of 2017 as Rajasthan ILD Skills University, Jaipur which was subsequently renamed as Vishvakarma Skills University, Jaipur on 10th August 2023 vide Act No. 16 of 2023. Accordingly the same was modified by the UGC in it's list maintained for 2(f) of UGC Act 1956 vide Notification No. F9-23/2017 (CPP1/PU) dated 03 January, 2024. Vishvakarma Skills University, Jaipur is mandated to maintained the quality and standards of skill education and to extend the affiliation to the institutions of skill education of entire state of Rajasthan. The University commenced its Academic Session from July 2018.
